lifting one’s self to a pedestal
is good and successful
but self-will proves weak
can never protect one from the falls
then the spirit of humility appears
teaches one that self-will may lift you high
as high as presumptuous heights
but when one lets the Almighty work
subjects himself under His wise hands
humble yourself and He will lift you high
even as high as everlasting life
